Substation Business /Plant System Sales

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales Engineer – Plant System Sales to drive sales and expand business in power plants, electrical cooperatives, steel, cement, mining, petrochemicals, semiconductors, and related industries. The role focuses on delivering transformers, switchgear, and industrial automation solutions to clients across these sectors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Identify new business opportunities while managing existing customer relationships.
● Develop and implement sales strategies to meet growth targets.
● Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine sales approaches.
● Engage in technical and commercial discussions to provide customized solutions.
● Collaborate with factory teams to align products with customer needs.
● Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
● Ensure accurate sales reporting and timely receivables collection.
● Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
● Travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
● Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the President and Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

● Strong technical expertise in transformers, switchgear, and industrial automation.
● Proven sales experience in industrial plant and substation sales.
● Site work experience (electrical, testing, commissioning, project management) is a plus.
● Well-connected within the distributor, consultant, and contractor network.
● Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Education and Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
● At least 3 years of sales experience in industrial automation or related products.
